Day Tour to Massada/ Dead Sea & Eilat - March 14-17, 2001 (Wednesday-Friday)
This tour includes a visit to Qumeran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered followed by a tour the ancient Herodian fortress of Massada. Driving along the Judean desert to Ein Bokek and stopping for a swim in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Continue to the thriving resort town of Eilat on the Red Sea passing on our way the "Timna" Park. Eilat is the ideal vacation site, and its waters boast world-famous coral reefs and shoals of tropical and exotic fish.
Wednesday, March 14 - Leave Tel Aviv, visit to Qumeran caves Massada and the Dead

Thursday, March 15 - The tour continues with a drive to Eilat, through the Judean Desert, stopping at "Timna" Park. After arrival, a half day tour of Eilat including the Underwater Observatory, the Coral Beach and a view of the Red Sea coast at which point four countries meet: Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Saudia Arabia.

Friday, March 16 - Continue our tour in Eilat with a visit to the unique "Eilat Stone" factory. We shall leave Eilat to Tel Aviv, through the town of Mitzpe Ramon, situated on the edge of the Ramon Crater, the ruins of the 2000 year old city of Avdat, Be'er Sheva - capital of the south and back to Tel Aviv, where the tour ends for a convenient departure to Ben Gurion Airport.
